Munoz steps down as NewWorld head, will not be replaced

in glhf

In a press release this morning, it was announced that Angel Munoz has resigned his position as CEO of NewWorld.com Inc., apparently to focus full attention on other projects, which seem to include an electronics giveaway portal and a Klout clone. NewWorld’s board will not seek a replacement, and is willing to part with some of it’s larger properties, which signals that the company is likely shuttering up or going generally inactive.

NewWorld is most recognized as the parent company behind the CPL, until it’s collapse several years ago and subsequent sale to Singapore-based Wolong Ventures. (They haven’t fared much better with it.)
